Labor Day Forecast Takes A Turn For The Worse: CT Weather
If you have outdoor plans on Labor Day itself here are new details on the chance for rain and possibly thunderstorms.

CONNECTICUT — The Labor Day weekend appears to be two for three when it comes to the weather forecast. There is increasing concern that some rain and possibly a thunderstorm or two will be present on Labor Day, especially in the late afternoon and evening hours.
It doesn't appear that Labor Day will be a washout, but don't expect to see much of the sun either, and there is an increasing chance of rain showers and thunderstorms on the holiday itself.
"In fact, it's quite possible, the showers do not move in ahead of an approaching warm front until after daybreak Monday. Rain chances will gradually increase from the west on Monday first ahead of a warm front that moves through in the morning and then followed by a dissipating cold front or trough at night. Marginal instability along with a weakly sheared environment only supports isolated thunderstorms at this time." the National Weather Service says.

As for today and Sunday, both days look great with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temps in the mid 70s.
"Mid and high level clouds will increase on Sunday, but there should still be a fair amount of sunshine especially in the morning hours....Temperatures Sunday will be just below normal with highs in the mid to upper 70s, but rebounding a bit on Monday along with gradually increasing humidity as winds become southerly with high pressure building offshore late Sunday."
