Most Wonderful Time Of Year: Ridgefield Holiday Stroll This Weekend

The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will be rolling out the tinsel and holly for the 2024 Holiday Stroll, stepping off Friday evening

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will be rolling out the tinsel and holly for the 2024 Holiday Stroll, stepping off Friday evening, and continuing until 2 p.m. Saturday.

The activities commence at 6 p.m. Many Downtown shops will remain open late Friday.

Friday, Dec. 6th

  • DJ spinning holiday music, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Toy Soldiers marching down Main Street and Bailey Avenue, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Carolers, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Horse & Carriage Rides (pickup at Veterans Park Elementary School and Ridgefield Library), 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Barlow Mountain Elementary School Special Chorus, 6:30 p.m. on the Ridgefield Library steps
  • Ridgefield High School Madrigals, 6:45 p.m. at Howard Hanna Realty
  • Lounsbury House transforms into Santa’s HQ with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live reindeer, and postcard mail for our troops, 6 to 9 p.m.

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center will hold an open house, where visitors can explore the first floor at their own pace, with costumed interpreters sharing stories from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Guests may also shop the museum's Holiday Boutique in the historic Carriage Barn, open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. Admission is free; check in at the Visitor Center upon arrival.

Saturday, Dec. 7

  • Toy Soldiers return, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
