Notable Speakers At Senior Spectacular Expo In Ridgefield

Ridgefield's first-ever Senior Spectacular Expo is scheduled for April 26 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ridgefield Parks & Recreation Center.

Excitement is building for Ridgefield’s first-ever Senior Spectacular Expo scheduled for April 26, 2025 from 12-4 PM at the Ridgefield Parks & Recreation Center, 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT. This one-of-a-kind event is designed to emphasize healthy aging and a more fulfilled life. The Expo is free to all residents of Ridgefield and surrounding communities who are pre-and post- Baby Boomers.

The Expo will feature a variety of exhibitors from the industries of healthcare, banking, legal, real estate and more, all showcasing services and products tailored to the interests and unique needs of seniors. All proceeds from the event will benefit new and expanding transportation programs for Ridgefield seniors and those with mobility issues.

The Commission on Aging has spearheaded the event and to date, has secured over fifty sponsor exhibitors, and a stellar lineup of engaging speakers. Free lunch, live music and prizes round out the day’s events.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with exhibitors. Also plan to attend any of the day’s notable speaker presentations. Scheduled speakers are as follows:

Co-chairs of the Expo, Dan Tewes and Tony Phillips have steered planning for the Expo with Patricia Yaffa, Vice Chair of the Commission on Aging (CoA). Honorary Chair, Rudy Marconi, along with members of the CoA, and volunteers worked together to bring this fun, educational and community building experience. The Parks & Recreation Center is wheelchair accessible.
