Obituary: Michael J. Gill, 32, Of Stratford And Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD. CT — Michael J. Gill, 32, of Stratford and Ridgefield, died from complications from lupus on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.

Michael was born in Livingston, NJ on Aug. 28, 1991.

He was a son of Diana (Drake) and Robert Gill. Michael grew up in Ridgefield, and was involved in many sports and outdoor activities. He loved the mountains of Vermont and the Adirondack Mountains and had a passion for snowboarding, boating and fishing. He loved his time "off the grid" at his family's camp.

Michael is survived by his parents, Diana and Bob, his loving partner Julia Meyerovich, his siblings Kristin Gill of Gig Harbor, WA, Matthew (his wife Cait and daughter Georgiana "Gigi") of Charleston, SC and Brian of Austin, TX, as well as many loving relatives who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service in celebration of Michael's life will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, 353 Main Street, Ridgefield. A reception will follow in North Hall following the service. Interment will take place privately.
