Over 7,400 Without Power In Ridgefield: Eversource

UPDATE: Eversource is reporting 7,400 power outages in Ridgefield as of 9:45 p.m. which represents 68 percent of the town.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Utility company Eversource is reporting that 6,619 customers are without power in the town as Tropical Storm Isaias moved across the state just before 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The worst of the storm has moved through Connecticut, but not before leaving a big impact. Widespread tree damage was reported, but rain and flooding was less of a worry thanks to the storm's quick speed.
