Ridgebury Farm In Ridgefield To Host Family Fall Festival With Games, Food, Music & Tractor Rides
Ridgebury Farm's Fall Festival returns Oct. 24 in Ridgefield with food trucks, games, live music and family fun.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgebury Farm will host its annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., offering families a mix of seasonal activities, live performances and local flavor.
The all-ages event will take place at the nonprofit’s Ridgefield farm and feature food and beverage trucks, yard games, face painting, line dancing, tractor rides and a “Touch-a-Tractor” station. Visitors can also enjoy barnyard time, a sensory corn pit and live performances by the Ridgefield Suzuki School.
“This is a joyful way to experience the farm, celebrate the season and bring neighbors together,” said Katy Schermann, executive director of Ridgebury Farm. “Every ticket supports our mission to make equine-assisted therapies accessible for individuals of all ages and abilities.”

Katie Diamond, the farm’s director of strategic initiatives, thanked community supporters who helped make the event possible. “A big thank-you to our presenting sponsor, 068 Magazine, and our gold sponsor, the Danbury Hat Tricks, for championing inclusive, family-friendly programming,” she said.
Tickets cost $15 per person and include 10 activity tickets. Children age 2 and under are admitted free. A raffle will offer the chance to win a Danbury Hat Tricks game for 20 guests in the owner’s box, with tickets priced at $5 each, five for $20 or 15 for $50. Organizers advise attendees to dress for the weather, as activities will take place outdoors on farm terrain.
Ridgebury Farm, a Ridgefield-based nonprofit, provides equine-assisted services including hippotherapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy and nature-based therapy through its GROW (Giving Resources for Optimal Wellness) program. The farm’s mission is to make therapeutic experiences accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities, regardless of their ability to pay.
