Ridgebury Farm In Ridgefield To Host Family-Friendly Valentine’s High Tea

Ridgebury Farm will host a Valentine's High Tea, featuring local food, tea, family activities and portraits.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgebury Farm will host a family-friendly Valentine’s Day High Tea on Friday, Feb. 13, offering two seatings designed to encourage connection, togetherness and a slower pace of celebration, according to an announcement from the organization.

The event will take place at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. atthe farm’s Ridgebury Road property and is intended for guests of all ages and abilities. Organizers described the gathering as a relaxed, inclusive take on the traditional high tea, set against the farm’s winter landscape.

The program includes a collaboration with Grace Farms Tea & Coffee, which will provide a curated selection of specialty teas. The company is known for its emphasis on ethical sourcing, sustainability and social impact, values Ridgebury Farm said align with its own community-focused mission.

Food for the afternoon will be prepared by local chefs Paulie G and Katie Diamond, featuring classic tea sandwiches and sweets. Ross Bread will also contribute pastries to the menu.

In addition to the meal, families will have access to several interactive elements, including a Valentine’s flower bar and an educational tea bar highlighting tea traditions and rituals. A professional portrait session will be offered by Michelle C Photography, with each family receiving a digital photo keepsake after the event.

“Meaningful memories don’t come from perfection—they come from being together and present,” said Katy Schermann, executive director of Ridgebury Farm, in a prepared statement. She said the event is intended to create an environment where families feel welcome and connected.
