Ridgefield Clergy Organize 'CommUNITY' Vigil

The Ridgefield community is invited to a candlelight vigil for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

It will take place Thurs. Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Lounsbury House/Ridgefield Community Center on Main Street.

The event includes music performed by the Ridgefield Chorale and reflections from local clergy, and unity to respectfully remember and pay tribute to the victims and those affected by the Sandy Hook School shooting, according to organizers.

The event takes place outdoors; warm clothing is recommended and attendees should bring candles.
