Ridgefield Gas Prices Entering Low, End-Of-Year Stasis?
In Ridgefield, the best price for a gallon of regular fuel is $3.29 at the Stateline Exxon at 242 South Salem Road.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Gasoline prices across the Northeast are holding mostly steady and likely very close to what ultimately will be the lowest prices of 2024, according to analysts at AAA Northeast.
In Ridgefield, the best price for a gallon of regular fuel is $3.29 at the Stateline Exxon at 242 South Salem Road. The Gulf at 115 Danbury Road charges $3.55. The update was posted Monday by shopping app GasBuddy.
Historically, prices are the pump are at their lowest during the final two months of the year. Even though crude inventories are down 5.1 million barrels from the prior week, the supply and demand picture here at home is supportive of lower prices, according to Lauren Fabrizi, spokesperson for AAA Northeast.

Here in Connecticut, a gallon of self-service regular is averaging $3.05, unchanged from both last week and last month. The national average is $3.01, down three cents from a week ago and down eight cents from a month ago.
“With the holiday season and start of the new year on the horizon, Americans are getting the gift of some of the lowest gasoline prices in years,” said Fabrizi said.

- Bridgeport: $3.10
- Hartford: $3.04
- Lower Fairfield County: $3.06
- New Haven/Meriden: $3.03
- New London/Norwich: $3.01
- Windham: $3.04
On Monday, Oklahoma and Texas have the lowest prices in the nation at $2.50 and $2.60, respectively. Hawaii and California hold the highest prices in the nation this week at $4.54 and $4.36, respectively. Connecticut holds the 15th place on the list of highest gas prices in the nation. Average gas prices may be obtained here online daily.
