Ridgefield Main Street Project Moves Towards Early Spring Completion
Completion of the Ridgefield Main Street Project is now scheduled for mid-April.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Completion of the Ridgefield Main Street Project is now scheduled for mid-April.
"The delays are a result of supply chain issues for the new signal lights, crosswalk flashing indicators, and flashing beacons at the mid-block crosswalk," according to a news release from the Town of Ridgefield. All components must be on site to ensure an efficient work schedule and use of resources.
Mid-April will also see the completion of any required new landscaping, and the concrete work required at each corner. All remaining street and crosswalk lines will be applied during April as the weather becomes warmer, according to the statement.
