Ridgefield Opens Cooling Center During Heat Wave

The Town of Ridgefield is opening a cooling center to accommodate residents during the projected multi-day heat wave.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Town of Ridgefield is opening a cooling center to accommodate residents during the projected multi-day heat wave.

The Rec Center, at 195 Danbury Road, will be open to Ridgefield residents for cooling, showers, and charging during regular business hour. Guests will be required to sign in at the front desk.

Rec Center Hours are Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
