Ridgefield Playhouse Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Sold-Out Gala Featuring Sheryl Crow

Community comes together for a milestone night supporting arts education and community engagement programs

Ridgefield, CT – Saturday, October 18, 2025 — Ridgefield Playhouse celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a sold-out Gala featuring nine-time GRAMMY Award winner Sheryl Crow, marking a milestone in the theater’s legacy of community, connection, and creativity. The event brought together more than 500 guests and was a record-breaking success in support of the Playhouse’s mission-driven programming, including its Arts in Education and Community Engagement initiatives.

Ahead of the performance, Sheryl Crow shared her enthusiasm for the evening, saying, “I look forward to being a part of Ridgefield Playhouse's 25th Anniversary Gala! Community performing arts centers like Ridgefield Playhouse are so valuable to our neighborhoods, providing not only great shows but also arts in education programs for children and community events!”

Notable attendees included Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo, First Selectman Rudy Marconi, and 25th Anniversary Committee Co-Chairs Allison Stockel and Lori Berisford, along with members of the Playhouse’s Board of Directors, major donors, and longtime supporters.

The evening also unveiled a new visual identity for the Ridgefield Playhouse — a bright, modern rebrand reflecting both its storied past and forward-looking future. The refreshed logo and color palette symbolize the energy and inclusivity that have defined the Playhouse’s first 25 years and will continue to guide its next chapter.

“For 25 years, the Playhouse has been a gathering place where the arts bring people together,” said Executive Director Ashley Paltauf. “This gala not only celebrated our history but also helps ensure that the next generation experiences the power of live performance. The support of our community makes everything we do possible — from bringing world-class talent to Ridgefield to providing free access to the arts for students.”
