Ridgefield Police: Graffiti, Caught

Ridgefield Police responded to Grove Street at 4:24 p.m. Monday on a call from a person who saw someone spray graffiti on a cross walk sign. Using information from the witness, police found Tyler Kurze, 19, Deep River, CT., who met the person's description. Police said they found the graffiti tools in his possession, and Kurze said he did it. Police charged him with third-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 4.

This information was released by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
