Ridgefield Police Searching For Missing Hiker

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are searching Bennett's Pond State Park for a missing 57-year-old man.

Jack Gordon is 5-foot 10-inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray skull cap, dark-colored clothing and hiking boots.

Gordon left his residence for a hike Sunday afternoon, according to a Ridgefield Police Department Facebook post.

The RPD is asking the public to stay out of the area, specifically along the system of trails, in order to allow emergency personnel to perform their duties.

Anyone who sees Gordon is asked to call 911 or contact the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
