'Ridgefield Rocks' To Benefit Local Animal Rescue

“Ridgefield Rocks” returns to present another fundraiser concert, this time at Nod Hill Brewery to benefit ROAR. Music will be provided by local favorites, Faster Things – Allman Brothers Tribute Band.

This follows successful “Ridgefield Rocks” fundraiser concerts to benefit Ridgefield institutions such as the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield (November 2022), The Prospector Theater (April 2023) and Kindness Over Muscular Dystrophy (November 2023).

This time Ridgefield Rocks will be producing a fundraising concert by Faster Things – Allman Brothers Tribute, on Friday, September 13th from 6:30pm to 9pm at Nod Hill Brewery to support ROAR.

While Nod Hill will be open to the public and entry will be FREE, ROAR and select event sponsors will be onsite. A portion of Geo-Bunny beer sales by Nod Hill during the event will be contributed to ROAR. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about ROAR's mission and consider opportunities to get involved, foster an animal and/or make donations to this important Ridgefield institution.

"Since opening the ROAR Shelter in 2005, ROAR has saved approximately 6000 abandoned dogs and cats, and found them loving homes. During their stay at ROAR, these precious animals are provided with the same love, care and compassion we show our own family pets. By partnering with Ridgefield Rocks and Nod Hill Brewery, we aim to get our message and our mission to new animal lovers in Ridgefield and neighboring towns that might consider providing a forever home for one of our cats or dogs. Alternatively, we also welcome donations and are always recruiting new members to our special volunteer teams,” says Barry London, Board Member of ROAR.

As animal lovers ourselves, we made a point of creating a family-oriented destination that welcomes dogs in our outdoor Biergarten space. Weather permitting, we hope to see families from Ridgefield and neighboring towns come to the event with their family dogs.
