Ridgefield Town Official Placed on Administrative Leave: Report

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A Ridgefield town official has been placed on administrative leave, according to The News Times. Kevin Tappe, Ridgefield Fire Chief, has been placed on administrative leave for a alleged policy violation, the report stated.

The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting with the fire commission on Thursday but declined to comment on the nature of the violation, according the report. An investigation is continuing.
