Roadwork Scheduled For Next Week In Ridgefield
Eversource will be doing some maintenance work along the Rail Trail. Here's the schedule…
RIDGEFIELD, CT — On Monday, Apr. 17, Eversource will begin maintenance work along the Rail Trail, starting at the Ridgefield substation at the Prospect Street/Sunset Lane entrance and moving towards Redding, according to a news release from the Town of Ridgefield.
Work will be done Monday through Saturday in compliance with the town’s noise ordinances.
During this time, sections of the Rail Trail are expected to be closed to pedestrians.

The anticipated schedule, subject to change is below:
- Ridgefield substation to Ivy Hill Road – 3 work days
- Ivy Hill Road to Cooper Hill Road – 8 work days
- Cooper Hill Road to Florida Road – 7 work days
- Florida Road to Route 7 – 4 work days
