'Serious' Injuries Follow 4-Vehicle Crash With School Bus: Police

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Two motorists were hospitalized following a 4-motor vehicle accident in Ridgefield on Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred on Danbury Road, Route 35 near #439 at approximately 08:35, shutting down traffic in the area until mid-afternoon.

One of the hospitalized drivers suffered serious injuries, according to Capt. Jeff Raines.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ridgefield Accident Investigation Team. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Set. Caswell at 203-438-6531.
