Town of Ridgefield Announces Upcoming Public Meetings

RIDGEFIELD, CT - The Town of Ridgefield has announced the following meetings taking place on Wednesday, November 16 in the Town Hall large conference room:

- 6:30 pm Board of Selectmen Meeting

- 7:30 pm Public Hearing on proposed Conservation Commission easement swap

- 7:30 pm Special Town Meeting on proposed vendor ordinance

Board of Selectmen Meeting

Board of Selectmen’s meetings will be conducted under Roberts Rules of Order with comment invited only on agenda items that are action items not subject to formal public hearing. Individuals will be recognized for three minutes after Board of Selectmen discussion but before Board of Selectmen vote. All items on agenda are presented as possible action items (vote) by the Board of Selectmen.

Conservation Commission Easement Swap

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Ridgefield Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Ridgefield Town Hall, 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut, in the large conference room, to consider a proposed easement swap of property at 20 Mopus Bridge Road, Ridgefield, CT between the Town of Ridgefield and Juliana Cole Weber.

Related documents for the easement swap are available for public inspection in the Office of the First Selectman and the Town Clerk and on the Town website.

Special Town Meeting on Peddling and Soliciting

Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting will be held on November 16, 2016, 7:30 PM, Town Hall Large Conference Room, 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut to act on changes in Ridgefield Code under Chapter 274; Article II: Peddling and Soliciting.
