Woman Hit By Car In Ridgefield And Hospitalized: Police
Ridgefield police are investigating a crash that hospitalized a pedestrian in Ridgefield.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle accident that has sent one woman to the hospital.
The police were notified of the accident around 11:20 Monday morning. First responders learned that a vehicle traveling northbound in the northbound lane of Danbury Road/Route 35 near South Street struck a female pedestrian in the northbound lane, according to police.
Members of the Ridgefield Fire Department transported the woman to Danbury Hospital for further evaluation. Her current condition is unknown, according to a news release from the RPD.

The driver remained on the scene to assist police in the investigation, according to Capt. Jeff Raines.
