ROCKY HILL, CT — More than 40 vehicles were burglarized in a recent crime spree, according to Rocky Hill police.
Officers were called around 6 a.m. Sunday to Stepny Place Apartments in the 1800 block of Silas Deane Highway by a resident reporting vehicle break-ins, police said.
The officers saw an occupant of a white sedan breaking the window of a vehicle and, upon seeing an officer, the sedan sped away over grass toward Marshall Road, according to police, who said officers did not pursue the car.
