• Rocky Hill Fire Department Battles Structure Fire Sunday (patch.com) — Rocky Hill firefighters quickly knocked down a Sunday morning structure fire at a commercial building on Laurel Road after overcoming a frozen hydrant and securing additional water sources. Mutual aid departments covered other calls, including one on the Silas Deane Highway, while local roads were temporarily closed. No injuries were reported, and the fire marshal is investigating the cause.
