Man Drowns In Outdoor Pool In Rocky Hill, Police Say
Police and medical personnel continued resuscitation efforts for 20 minutes before he was pronounced dead at a hospital.

ROCKY HILL, CT — A man died after being found drowning in an outdoor pool on Cold Spring Road on Sunday, police said.
At 3:08 p.m. officers from the Rocky Hill Police Department, along with emergency medical personnel, responded to an outdoor pool located at 98 Cold Spring Road for a report of a man who was drowning, police said.
"Upon arrival, officers found the male out of the water as paramedics were actively performing life-saving measures," police said. "Police and medical personnel continued resuscitation efforts for approximately 20 minutes before the male was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased."

"Preliminary information, based on witness statements, indicates this was an accidental incident. The Rocky Hill Police Department continues to investigate," police added.
