Person Rescued From Woods After Suspicious Vehicle Call In Rocky Hill, Fire Officials Say
Firefighters used a utility terrain vehicle to rescue the person, according to a statement from town officials on social media.

ROCKY HILL, CT — First responders rescued a disoriented person in the woods in Rocky Hill on Thursday night, according to a post on social media from the town's fire department.
Police were first called to the area of Tedwin Farms Road around 9:08 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the woods. Officers located the driver about 20 yards from the car and found the individual non-verbal and disoriented, fire officials said.
Officers then requested assistance from both EMS and the Rocky Hill Fire Department.
Firefighters used a utility terrain vehicle to bring the individual out of the woods and transport them to the command post, where EMS evaluated the person.

They were later taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the department. The scene was cleared around 10 p.m., and no first responders were injured.
