UPDATE: Rocky Hill Police Release Webster Bank Robber Description
Police were notified of the robbery Thursday afternoon.

Update: 4:15 p.m.
Rocky Hill Police report that a man walked into the Webster Bank on Cromwell Avenue after 1 p.m. Thursday, and swiped an undetermined amount of money from a customer making a transaction.
Police said the robber reached over a customer and grabbed the money before he fled on foot, according to WFSB. No one was injured.

Police described the man as being in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with dark brown hair, brown eyes, scruffy facial hair, according to the report. The robber was wearing a black waist length overcoat, black folding golf cap, blue jeans, a grey shirt and maybe dress shoes.

Police in Rocky Hill reportedly are investigating the report of a bank robbery on Cromwell Avenue Thursday afternoon.
The robbery was reported about 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Webster Bank, 377 Cromwell Ave., according to The Courant. The same bank was robbed on Nov. 4. No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as light-skinned and heavy, wearing a tan coat and “an Irish-style cap,” according to The Courant story that can be found here.
