Street Parking Ban Implemented In Rocky Hill Ahead Of Snowstorm

The on-street parking ban begins at midnight and will remain in effect for 24 hours, Rocky Hill police said.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Ahead of this weekend's snowstorm, the town of Rocky Hill has announced a street parking ban.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday through 12:01 a.m. Sunday, no one will be allowed to park on Rocky Hill's streets, Public Information Officer Steve Morgan said.

The parking ban is in place so town staff can safely remove snow, Morgan said.

Hartford County, which includes Rocky Hill, is expected to get 7 to 15 inches of snow on Saturday, with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour possible. Wind gusts could reach 45 miles an hour.
