Why are you seeking this office?

Simsbury deserves data-driven, fiscally responsible leadership that puts residents first.

With my experience as a selectman and as a data analytics developer, I know how to use analytics to translate community priorities into practical outcomes — balanced budgets, protecting our town’s character, and supporting local families, seniors, and businesses.

Politics should serve people, not divide them.

That’s why I value working across parties and listening to all perspectives — especially as Connecticut faces challenges with rising costs.

It’s time to focus on smart, collaborative policies rooted in real data and community input.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Keeping Simsbury affordable is the top challenge we face.

For me, that means getting spending under control and using data to make smarter decisions.

Whether in business or public service, I believe efficiency and quality can go hand-in-hand—my everyday work has shown how analytics reveal places where we can cut waste without sacrificing what matters most.

I prioritize listening to residents’ concerns, setting clear goals, and making sure our budgeting decisions are transparent and evidence-based.

As a selectman, I’ve championed keeping taxes flat and maintaining high-quality town services, even as needs grow.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Unlike traditional party politicians, I approach this role from a nonpartisan, analytical perspective.

As selectman and in my professional life, I focus on results, not platforms — using data and open dialogue to inform every recommendation.

I value constructive debate and often seek out differing viewpoints to strengthen policy decisions.

Collaboration — regardless of party affiliation — means putting Simsbury’s interests ahead of any political agenda.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Public health and safety: As Simsbury grows, I support investments in emergency services such as a second ambulance to sustain quick response times.

•Infrastructure: I’m committed to matching public works and facilities to our changing needs, using long-term planning and data-driven analysis.

•Parks, open space, and the environment: Our parks and trails are vital to community wellness and sustainability. I support initiatives that keep these spaces clean, safe, and accessible for all families.

•Environmental stewardship: I advocate for using native plants and renewable energy in municipal projects, ensuring we lower costs and support the environment.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

During my terms as selectman, I helped deliver flat budgets and protected core services like schools and recreation.

I’ve led efforts to secure grants, grow local business, and negotiate strong partnerships—always relying on quantitative analysis to guide complex decisions.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? Be yourself, don't try and be everyone else.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Aside from public service, I’m a father, a husband, and an active member of our local government and schools.

My commitment to Simsbury’s future is rooted in experience, integrity, and a strong belief in collaborative, data-driven solutions for every resident.

I've lived here since 1985. I used to use the flower bridge to go to AC Petersons and Leaders.
