Color Scheme Expands For Southbury Businesses
The Planning Commission made some changes to the restrictions for business signs.

Southbury, CT - Pick a color, any color. Well, almost any.
The Southbury Planning Commission voted to approve a measure that will allow business owners in Union Square to add a bit more color to their storefront signs, according to The Republican-American.
Currently, the signs for the merchants are limited to green and gold. With the approval of the Planning Commission, businesses can now add additional colors, like red and white, The Republican-American reports.

Bold and bright shades won't be allowed, according to the report.
Commissioner Donald S. Antilla said the town wants to keep the signs consistent, and similar, but not identical. Businesses want more variety and options, in order to attract customers, the paper reports.
