Southbury Library's Energy Bill On Point With National Average

The Southbury Library is energy efficient according to a new study.

SOUTHBURY — The Southbury Public Library is using less energy than other libraries across the country.

A new study reports that the town's library uses 20 percent less energy than its counterparts across the U.S. in 2013 and 2014, The Republican-American reports.

It's been over 10 years since the library moved to the updated, $6 million building on Poverty Road.
