Basketball Free Throw Contest Planned In Southington
Youths aged 9-14 are invited to Southington on Jan. 11 for the annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shooting contest.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Whether you shoot your basketball free throws like Wilt, Shaq or Rick Barry, the Southington chapter of the Knights of Columbus still wants you to keep shooting.
The Knights are hosting their annual free throw competition on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Saint Luke Catholic School, 133 Bristol St., Southington.
Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. that day, with the free throws flying at 1 p.m. for the competition.

Should it snow, the event will take place a week later on Jan. 18, at the same time and location.
Regardless, now is the time to start practicing.

The contest is free for all youths aged 9-14 and hoopsters from out of town are welcome.
