Brumback to Stay as Southington Town Manager
The town official was passed over for a town manager's post in Florida.

It appears that Southington Town Manager Garry Brumback won’t be relocating to Florida.
Brumback, who has been town manager since 2011, was not selected for the city manager position in Fort Myers, FL, according to MyRecordJournal.com.
Brumback was one of four finalists who met with Fort Myers residents and officials earlier this week. The council voted on Tuesday to appoint Saeed Kazemi, who has been interim manager for the past four months, according to the report.

The 59-year-old Brumback told The Hartford Courant that he applied for the post because he wants to be closer to his 83-year-old father, who lives on Florida’s west coast.
Several Southington officials said they were relieved that Brumback would be staying in town, according to the MyRecordJournal.com story that can be found here.
