Just sign up first (or sign in if you are already signed up) on the Southington Patch. Click on this link to start a new blog. 

Here are some helpful hints when blogging:

1. If you are writing a novel or short story, break your piece into small sections and post them individually. Short and sweet is better. Just make sure you let your readers know "this is part 6 of 10," etc. 
2. You can write whenever you want and post whenever you want. You don't need to go through an editor to blog.
3. The blogging platform allows you to post a photo to help tell your story.
4. Editors and other Patch staff do not edit your blogs, so if you see a typo, you can easily change it yourself.
