Central Connecticut Chambers Of Commerce Business Expo 2022 Is Returning

The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce is now accepting early bird registration for the “Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce Business Expo 2022.”

The event will be held on “Chamber of Commerce Day” Wednesday, Oct. 19 at DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 42 Century Drive. This will be the first time that the Chamber has been able to offer a business expo in two years due to the pandemic.

“We wanted to help our businesses to get some additional exposure headed into the fall,” said Cindy Bombard, president and CEO of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce. “We also thought it was a good idea to do it on Chamber of Commerce Day. Come out and help support your fellow business owners. There will be something for everyone.”

This event will be limited to the first 50 vendors who sign-up.

Bombard said that the Chamber’s larger, “Home and Business Expo”, which they have traditionally offered in February, will be returning in 2023.

“This event is not replacing the Home and Business Expo,” Bombard clarified. “We just wanted to be able to offer something for our businesses to get some visibility since we had to cancel that event the past couple years.”

On the day of the event, vendors will be able to start signing up at 3 p.m. There will then be a Chamber member reception with hors d'oeuvres and a drink ticket from 4 to 5 p.m. The expo will then open to the general public from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce is offering an early bird special now through Aug. 1. Those who sign-up during this time will be able to do so for $200 for Chamber members or $300 for non-members.

After Aug. 1, registration will increase to $300 for Chamber members and $400 for non-members.

Vendors will be provided with a table and two chairs to set up for the event.
