Click It or Ticket Campaign in Southington
Police are stepping up enforcement efforts this week.
As motorists take to the roads this holiday travel period and beyond, Southington Police are urging everyone to buckle up.
Beginning Monday and continuing through Nov. 30 law enforcement officials will be out in full force, taking part in the 2015 national Click It or Ticket campaign.
Police will be cracking down on motorists who are not wearing seat belts, driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, and distracted driving.

Police added, “While this year’s Click It or Ticket enforcement mobilization runs from Nov. 23rd through Nov. 30th, officers are out enforcing seat belt laws year-round.
