Heroin, Cocaine Sale Charges Lodged Against Southington Man

The suspect surrendered to police on Tuesday morning.

A Southington man is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday following his arrest on sale of heroin and cocaine charges.

According to Southington Police, during the month of June, the department’s Special Investigations Unit received information that the Southington resident was selling cocaine and heroin in town.

Police said they made three controlled purchases from Dominic M. Cardinale, 36, of Southington.

As a result of the investigation, police obtained three arrest warrants from Bristol Superior Court charging Cardinale with Sale of Certain Illegal Drugs (Heroin) and two counts of Sale of Certain Illegal Drugs (Cocaine).

Cardinale surrendered at police headquarters at 7 a.m. Feb. 9. Each warrant had a $75,000 bond, for a total of $225,000 bond.

Cardinale was scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Tuesday.
