SOUTHINGTON, CT — Firefighters overnight swarmed a fully engulfed Southington home impacted by a 500-gallon propane tank inside on Town Line Road.

According to the Southington Fire Department, the blaze at 430 Town Line Road was called in at 11:13 p.m. Tuesday amid reports of "fire and multiple explosions" due to the propane tank at the site.

Amid "numerous 911 calls," several SFD units rushed to the burning home, including a tanker team deemed necessary due to the volume of flames and a lack of fire hydrants on site.
