Multi-Vehicle Wreck Cleared On Southington Highway: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Southington on Tuesday morning caused problems for morning commuters, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident happened on I-84 West between exits 32 and 31, resulting in the closure of one lane and, then, the closure of the nearby shoulder.

The wreck was first reported at 6:17 a.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
