Kansas Men Charged with Assault in Southington

Police said their bond was set at $10,000 each.

Two men from Kansas were arrested on assault charges in Southington early Monday morning.

Lawrence Tabor II, 46, of Topeka, was arrested on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was due in court on Nov. 12.

Southington Police also arrested Matthew Steiner, 32, of Topeka, on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was due in court on Nov. 12, too.

Both men were arrested at 1:50 a.m on Nov. 11. Police did not release any further information about the alleged incident.
