Luxury Townhouses, Senior Housing Approved in Downtown Southington

A builder has received Southington Planning and Zoning Commission approval to build 41 units of senior housing in an apartment building on Forgione Drive, along with 23 luxury townhouses.

Mark Lovley received the approval Tuesday, according to MyRecordJournal.com.

Back in May, Lovley received approval on his original proposal for a four-story, 86-unit senior housing apartment building. The revised plan will now be three-stories and include amenities for seniors. Construction is expected to begin next spring.

The luxury townhouses will be not have any age restrictions and are expected to be priced about $190,000, according to the Record Journal report that can be found here.
