Major Coffee Chain's New Shop In Southington Is Opening Monday

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Folks around Southington will have a new tool in their arsenal to battle the Mondays this Monday, July 21.

That's the day Aroma Joe’s, the Maine-based regional coffee chain, will open its newest location in Southington, at 279 Queen St.

This 1,000-square-foot drive-through site features "handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks, unique flavor infusions, signature AJ’s RUSH Energy Drinks and all-day food options," wrote the company in an announcement.

The location will employ approximately 20 residents.

This is Aroma Joe’s fourth location in Connecticut, following Bristol, Waterbury, and Berlin. The store hours will be 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

This new location is owned and operated by Mark MacGregor, Henry Laughlin, and Loren Goodridge.

Bristol was the first-ever Aroma Joe’s to open in the state, and the Waterbury store was Aroma Joe’s 100th location.

“We have been so grateful for the enthusiasm for the Aroma Joe’s brand in Connecticut and cannot wait to keep growing here,” said MacGregor. “Not only are we excited to serve fantastic coffee and beverages, but also to positively impact people with community activations and charitable initiatives.”

To celebrate its grand opening week, Aroma Joe’s Southington will offer several promotions starting Monday, July 21.

Those include free AJ's RUSH swag from noon to closing each day, July 21-26, as well as various free drink specials from opening to noon for the next several days after opening.

Promotions continue through to Sunday, July 27, which is Southington sticker and T-shirt day, with those items available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The promotions are only available at the Southington location and while supplies last.

Aroma Joe's was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Scarborough, Maine, with 127 locations across Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York.
