Major Southington Commercial Site Has A New Tenant
The site was once a World War II-era aircraft engine manufacturer, evolving into an industrial park site after the factory's 1995 closure.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The real estate agents for a prominent commercial property in Southington announced a new lease, bringing a major tenant to the local business community.
O, R & L Commercial, which is representing IRG Realty Advisors, LLC, said Wednesday the Rankin Group has signed a Lease for 12,300 square feet of industrial space at 75 Aircraft Road in Southington.
Rankin is an Illinois-based company that specializes in "temporary climate control solutions, having served clients across commercial, construction, industrial, institutional, and emergency settings since 1981," according to O, R & L.

"The property offers a highly functional industrial facility with excellent access to major highways, making it an ideal location for Rankin Group’s operations," wrote O, R, & L in a statement.
"Situated in the heart of Southington’s Industrial corridor, 75 Aircraft Road provides convenient connectivity to Interstate 84 and Interstate 691, serving both regional and statewide markets."

O, R, & L Commercial, LLC, with offices in Branford and Rocky Hill, represents landlords, tenants, sellers, and buyers in the office, retail, medical, multi-family, investment, and industrial markets.
The Aircraft Road site has played a major role in Southington's commercial scene for several decades.
It was once a Pratt & Whitney aircraft engine manufacturer, dating back to World War II and closing in 1995.
The site then evolved into a multi-tenant industrial business park.
