In Memoriam: Audrey C. Burke

Audrey C. Burke, 57, of Southington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 after a sudden illness.

She was the wife of James E. Burke Jr.

She was born in Hartford on Nov. 8, 1958 the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Clifton) Clark.

Audrey received her bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph College and her master’s degree from the Univ. of Hartford. She was employed by the Wallingford Board of Education as an Administrator in Pupil Personnel. She formerly was the Director of Pupil Personnel in the Meriden School System.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children James Burke and Emily Burke. She also leaves her sister Ruth Greenburger and Danny Boch of West Suffield also a niece and nephew Michelle and Douglas Robare.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington from 1 to 3 pm.
