Base depths were 6 to 12 inches. Some thin cover was showing up in the afternoon Saturday, but few people complained.
Dougherty said the mountain was receiving a forecast of cold nights for most of this week and that meant the snowmaking crews would be busy trying to open more terrain. Dougherty said he hopes most of the mountain can be open for the crucial week between Christmas and New Year's days. He said the new terrain-based learning course should be set up in time for the vacation period. Click here for a sneak preview.
