PAWs Pet Resort Hosting Benefit Event For Child With Cancer

There will be a benefit dinner and activities for kids during the event this Saturday, Aug. 24.

A family in Cheshire is hosting a benefit dinner and event for a little girl recently diagnosed with cancer

Kylie Edwards is 2 and 1/2 year old who was diagnosed on June 2 with Stage 2 Burkitt's Lymphoma, according the Band Together 4 Kyle Facebook page.


Her family, with support from friends including Kylie's uncle and Southington resident Michael DelSanto, will be holding an event this Saturday, from 3-7 p.m. at the PAWs Pet Resort located at 312 East Johnson Ave. in Cheshire.

There will be a pasta dinner, beverages, desserts, a bounce house, live music from Impostor (a Cheshire band), magic and a raffle.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 youth 5-13 and under 5 are free. Call 203-272-9603 for details.
