New tradition provides the opportunity for community to select their own Teacher of the Year.

Plainville Community Schools have selected a “Teacher of the Year” at each of the five Plainville schools.

“The 2022-23 teachers of the year are Cassandra Smith-Johnson of Linden Street School, Morgan Campbell of Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School, Rob Silliman of Louis Toffolon Elementary School, Melanie Olmstead of the Middle School of Plainville and Deb Pikiell of Plainville High School,” said a release.
“This new tradition provides the opportunity for each Plainville school community to select their own Teacher of the Year to be recognized and honored.”
