Southington Chamber Unveils Best Wings In Town

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Several Southington-area eateries had a hot time earlier this week in the local chamber's epic competition to see who makes the best chicken wings.

Monday night, Nov. 11, the Southington Chamber of Commerce was at the Cadillac Ranch Restaurant in Southington as over 500 wing enthusiasts from all over Connecticut packed the house.

They were all there for the Southington Chamber of Commerce's 18th Annual Wing Fest Competition

The coveted "Golden Chicken Trophy" and title of "Best Overall Wings" was awarded to Ideal Tavern, 142 Center St., Southington.

The Ideal Tavern team also took home first runner-up in the "Fan Favorite" and "Best Tasting Hot Wings" categories.

Ideal Tavern appears on WFSB Channel 3’s Great Day Connecticut on Friday, Nov. 15 to cook their award-winning wings.
