SOUTHINGTON, CT — The local library is hosting a rather unique program next week where exotic fruits, not books, are the stars.

According to the Southington Public Library, there's still time to register for "Exotic Fruits with Marisa" at 1 p.m. next Friday, Sept. 5, at the library, which is located at 255 Main St.

Guests will be able to join Marisa McCoy, a dietitian from ShopRite, for an informative presentation on exotic fruits, highlighting their unique characteristics and potential health benefits.
