Southington Police Blotter: Larcenies and DUIs
The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officers reported several arrests over the weekend, stemming from separate shoplifting and DUI cases. In addition, the department issued citations for numerous violations. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
June 29
Jason Cardona, 21, of 59 Marconi Ave. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, June 29.
Christopher J. Leavitt, 43, of 140 Cynthia Drive in Kensington, was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, June 29.
David Plourde Jr., 28, of 33 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, June 29.
Ryan Garry, 19, of 33 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, June 29.
June 30
David Ladd, 46, of 18 Wolcott St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, June 30.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Seven people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
- Four people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- Two people were cited with passing a standing school bus.
- Two people were cited with seatbelt violations.
- One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with cancelled insurance.
- One person was cited with allowing a dog to roam without a leash.
- One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
- One person was cited with unsafe movement from a stopped position.
- One person was cited with failure to carry a license.
- One person was cited with walking in the roadway while intoxicated.
