
The following is a press release from the Southington Police Department:
On Nov. 16 at about 6:06 p.m. the Southington Police Department received a 911 call from the clerk of the Fleet Gas Station located at the intersection of Clark Street and Meriden Waterbury Rd. ( 1611 Meriden Waterbury Rd.) who reported that he was robbed.
The clerk reported that two black males entered his business. As they entered one of the males displayed a handgun and pointed it at the clerk demanding cash.
After the cash drawer was opened the second male removed an undetermined amount of cash and they both exited the business on foot without further incident. They were last seen heading in a westerly direction from the business.
The first male is described as a black male, 6’-0” tall, 230 lbs., wearing a Yankee hat, grey/black pants, black sweater and black shoes with red laces.
The second male is described as a black male 5’-10” tall, 200 lbs., grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
