Southington Resident Arrested Following Argument

Southington Police arrested a Meriden high school assistant principal on a second-degree breach of peace charge following an incident at her home in Southington.
Heather Verdi, 47, of 480 Prospect St., Southington, was arrested by police who responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Nov. 18, Southington police told The Record Journal. Verdi is accused of slapping and pushing a person during an argument, according to the report. There were no injuries and no medical treatment administered.
Verdi is free on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Dec. 23, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
